From the elevated tee, the player is faced with the most difficult drive of the day. There is a pond to be carried and a marsh to be avoided. If successful, a generous landing area awaits. From here, the player is faced with a long second shot to a green whose view is partially obstructed and whose distance is tough to gauge. The undulating putting surface is protected on the right by a shallow bunker.
